My family wasn’t exactly the normal everyday family that was simple, down to earth, and focused on being there for each other. Since our immigration to the U.S. my parents lost their stability and struggled very hard to reestablish themselves in a foreign country they knew nothing about.
An improv class unexpectedly deepened my meditation practice by teaching me how to let go, be present, and embrace creative flow—on stage and in life.
